Ellenboro Community Restoration

                                                                                Ellenboro Community Restoration Association, Inc. (ECRA) was organized in 2001 to preserve                                                                                                                                                                   the history of Ellenboro   and surrounding communities.                                                                                                   It received its Articles of Incorporation from the State of North Carolina on the 12th day of June, 2001. 

                                                                                       The first property the Association received was the Ellenboro Train Depot                                                                                            donated by CSX Transportation, Inc. on August 22, 2001.

                                                        The second property the Association received was the Philadelphia Primitive Baptist Church                                                                   donated by the members on July 23, 2024.
